If there are questions concerning the lecture, please feel free to contact Mr. Andreas Jobst, M.Sc.

The lecture presents the process chain of the production of the body in white. The feasibility analysis of parts to be manufactured via forming simulations and prototyping is followed by the series production. The focus is on the tooling technology. The tool production in an appropriate number in the prototyping step is followed by the construction of robust tools for the series production. At the end of the lecture you have the opportunity to experience the whole process chain at the tool making department of the Mercedes Car Group (Sindelfingen).
