Light weight constructions and materials offer many possibilities in the automotive indus-tries. Thus modern aluminium alloys show a high stiffness compared to conventional deep drawing steels with substantially lower density. From this technological and ecological ad-vantages for aluminium bodies result. The limited formability however demands a greater know-how for the production process of the drawing parts.
